In an unspoilt corner of the Marches, perfectly located in the stunning National Park of Monti Sibillini , this villa is created from the remnants of an old building, probably a convent , and is dated on an old stone at the entrance as being  from 1651. The property enjoys an unparalleled 360 degree panorama encompassing the Sibillini Mountains with their peaks of over 2,000 metres, plus the picturesque rolling hills and valleys so typical of this area of outstanding beauty. The estate consists of fenced natural parkland covering 23 hectares which gives scope for gentle and peaceful walking.

The renovation gives the villa a great elegance; the interior has been finished to a very high standard and is furnished with antique furniture and paintings. There is also high spec technological equipment to give maximum comfort to our guests.

The villa is set on two floors and has two porches. One is attached to the kitchen area and is furnished with tables and chairs for 12 people to allow alfresco dining surrounded by the idyllic countryside.

THE GROUND FLOOR

The entrance on the ground floor opens into a large hallway with the grand marble staircase. The large main living room features an antique travertine fireplace and is fitted with three four seater sofas.  There is also a relaxation room with splendid mountain views and this is equipped with a 40-inch LCD television , stereo system and DVD player , all enhanced by a home sound system.  The study has a work desk and large bookcase. The games room has an antique pool table, complete with cues and balls for all types of games.  The large dining room holds an antique wooden table for 12 people and an ancient wooden dresser. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, oven, stove with 5 burners, microwave, and coffee machine and is complete with all accessories to entertain a villa full of guests. A bathroom with a dressing room equipped with a wardrobe finishes the ground floor rooms.

THE FIRST FLOOR

This floor is composed of two double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower . There is also a twin bedroom and another bedroom - these rooms share a bathroom with shower and bath.

THE BASEMENT

This area houses a laundry area equipped with washing machine, drier and ironing board, and also has a bathroom with toilet and sink.

2) THE ANNEXE

At the Side of the villa there is a lovely independent annex consisting of a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom with shower and also a kitchenette.

THE PARK

The park of the estate covers 23 hectares and is a true reflection of the superb surrounding National Park of Monti Sibillini. Giant trees such as chestnut, oak, hornbeam and other varieties form a mosaic of striking different greenery over the land. Particularly interesting is the wildlife - badgers, foxes, hares, squirrels and deer, there are also numerous varieties of birds. All of these  can be seen during walks in the park via a series of trails that wind their way  and are equipped in various positions with gym equipment that create a real PATH TEACHING SPORTS .

THE SPORTS FACILITIES

POOL

Adjacent to the villa there is a covered pavilion that houses the rectangular swimming pool (4.5 x 11 metres wide and 30 centimeters to 1.90 metres deep), the water in the pool is constantly heated to about 30 degrees in temperature. In the pavilion there are some benches and also equipment for fitness and weight lifting . Outside of the pavilion is the lawn with sun loungers to take advantage of the wonderful Marche weather.

TENNIS COURT

A few metres from the pool pavilion there is  a  tennis court which is surrounded by a 5 ft high fence.

THE SURROUNDINGS

The estate is located in an area of characteristically unspoilt nature. Within a few kilometers there are 4 natural mineral water springs. The lifestyle in this area is typical of the Italian countryside - peaceful, gentle and restful.

The villa is a perfect starting point for all kinds of excursions to the mountains and the sea, from small villages to the major Marche cities. About 3 kms away is the quaint town of Montefortino which has an important gallery of ancient art. Approximately 6 kms distance and at the foot of the mountains is the gorges of Infernaccio and also at the same distance away stands the Shrine of Our Lady dell'Ambro . Approx 10 km away is where to start hiking in the mountains that reach over 2000 metres. Ascoli Piceno is about 33 kms away and is a city rich in history and art. Travel about 40 km and you come to Offida , capital of the excellent  Rosso Piceno wine area and also famous for its lace making. If you want the sea and perfect sandy beaches then go 45 km to Pedaso and the Adriatic Sea. Ancona , a city famous for its monuments and large port also has the airport. It is only about 190 km to the Italian capital of Rome - well worth a visit.
